We Dress Like We Belong There!

There are plenty of times when we can shoot in jeans and a t-shirt, after all our clients aren’t watching us do post production. Event Photographer Mallorca.

When photographing your special event, be it a birthday or celebration, we dress like we belong there and try to blend in with the
crowd.

This doesn’t necessarily mean a suit and tie every time for men, or that a dress suit is necessary for women, but slacks/dressy
trousers, comfortable, simple, black shoes and a nice shirt is a must.

If it is a higher end celebration or conference, we will wear a suit coat and tie while women wear a blazer if they feel it is necessary. If
we are unsure of what to wear, we always dress safety if we are over dressed we can always take off the coat and put the tie away.

We Take Pre-event Shots!

Although clients don’t think of this, we know that the client will love that we captured shots of the room prior to the guests arrival.

It allows them to keep and show the set-up in case they have a very similar type of event in that space again at some point in the
future!

This will prove invaluable to the client and is the way we start any event. We Don’t Over Shoot (but we don’t under shoot either)

When we are photographing a special event, we remember that even though great photographs are key, the organisers and the
guests having a good time is the most important thing.

While it is completely ok to photograph the guests, both posed and candidly we ensure to make a mental notes of who we have
photographed so that we dont go to the same people over and over again.

Along with posed shots, if the lighting allows for it, we bump up the ISO and shoot candids with ambient light. Once you move past a
cocktail hour and into a reception, we keep our focus to the stage.
Candid audience or crowd shots are nice here and there, but a good rule of thumb is that once plates go down and people are eating,
keep the camera pointed away from the tables and onto the stage and shoot conservatively.

We’re Fast!

Whether it’s a dinner, dancing or candid photos at a cocktail hour, we are at work serving you. When we shooting candids, we go, take
a step back, click off three frames and move on, any more than that!

When shooting a performance, or anything on a stage, we shoot a lot with a long lens. While close, intimate shots from a wide lens
look awesome, we are quick, quiet and stay as low as possible!
